Glove Theatre Donates To Little Falls Hospital
To lift the spirits of young children in need of emergency care over the holidays, Roberta Esposito, producing / artist and director of the Glove Theatre held a “Teddy Bear Tea”, holiday show. The admission was the reduced cost of a ticket and a new teddy bear per family to be given away. Besides Little Falls Hospital, teddy bears were donated to Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville and St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam.
Rose Salek, RN and Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department at Little Falls Hospital, commented, “Presenting a new and cuddly stuffed animal to a frightened and sick child, watching a smile come to their sad little face you realize that the children aren’t just receiving a teddy bear, but also a new best friend. The comfort a stuffed animal provides a child is a priceless gift.”
