Hempstead Speaks to Shriners Club
Posted 1/28/08
DOLGEVILLE—Lori Hempstead, Chief Nursing Operator (CNO) and VP of Patient Care, for Little Falls Hospital spoke to the Local Ziyara Shriners at Arthur’s Ye Olde Cottage Hotel in Dolgeville about “Understanding Stroke Symptoms”.
Shriners are distinguished by an enjoyment of life and a commitment to philanthropy. The Shriners of North America supports a network of 22 pediatric and burn specialty hospitals. Temples and Clubs often help arrange and pay for transportation for children and parents to the hospitals. Children up to 18 years old may be eligible for treatment if they could benefit from the specialized care available at Shriners Hospitals. Eligibility is not based on financial need.
