Little Falls Hospital Provide Health Booth at Canal Daysl

Little Falls, NY - Little Falls Hospital held a health screening booth on Saturday, August 9th, at the Canal Days. Screenings services provided were Atrial Fibrillations screening, Cardiac Monitoring; Body Mass Index (BMI); Blood Pressures; Doppler, Check Pedal (Foot) Pulses, Circulation of Feet; Glucose Screenings, Monitors Blood Sugars. Screenings were open and free to the public. Over 100 people were screened, community members were surprised of their results, 'a wake up call' was expressed, reported Kate Reese, Director of Community Relations. Reese went on to say "the screenings provide a snapshot of their physical condition we want to encourage everyone to be aware of their health, their numbers, and to see their primary care physician on a regular basis."
